Amy Brown is an Assistant Professor of Music Education at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She teaches music education classes and supervises student teachers who will be ready to graduate in the field of music education. Amy has her Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Asbury University and a Master’s in Music, with an Orff Concentration, from UNLV. With over 20+ years of elementary music education experience, she is a 2-time National Board Certified teacher, 3-time CCSD Heart of Education Award Finalist, and Outstanding Teacher of the Year, by the Nevada Society of Innovators and Digital Educators (NVSIDE). Amy presents at various local, state, and national conferences on topics about music education and technology integration.
