John Martin is the Vice President, Education at the SIFMA foundation where he is responsible for managing strategic partnerships with schools and nonprofit institutions to ensure foundation programs are designed and implemented in a manner that will resonate with educators. Prior to joining the SIFMA foundation, John was most recently Senior Director at the College Board where he expanded access to SAT School Day for more than 1.2 million students and 12,000 schools/year. John also previously served as Senior Director of Research and Evaluation at the NYC Department of Education, developing research, recommendations and briefs for education policymakers, stakeholders and program developers. John has a B.A. in Economics from Columbia University and a Master’s in Education Policy from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
