Rachel Antrobus, Ed. D., is a Director of Intersegmental Projects at WestEd’s Center for Economic Mobility where she leads innovative, data-informed technical assistance aimed to strengthen college and career pathways that increase opportunities for all students to earn a living wage in the industry of their choosing. Dr. Antrobus has extensive experience in developing and sustaining K16 career-focused, equitable pathways as an instructor, administrator, and a manager in local government, community colleges and non profit organizations. Before joining WestEd in 2019, Dr. Antrobus led CTE and work based learning projects at Merritt College (Oakland, CA), managed statewide partnerships at Career Ladders Project focused on K14 projects, developed new college programs for out of school youth at at Gateway to College’s National Network (now Achieving the Dream) and directed a citywide initiative to advocate for improved systems for school/out of work transitional aged youth in San Francisco, CA.

Dr. Antrobus holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of Southern California where her research focused on equitable career and college planning deploying experiential learning curriculum. She also holds a Master of Public Administration from Cal State Long Beach and is a proud alumnus of the California community college system where she continues to teach part time in the Political Science department.
